In-situ excitation

Our setup combines NMR spectroscopy with fibre-coupled LED irradiation at wavelengths from about 400 to 800 nm and variable temperatures from −20 to +80 °C. It enables direct monitoring of light-induced molecular transformations, photoswitching and reaction kinetics under controlled conditions. Compared with ex-situ irradiation, in-situ irradiation allows rapid and dynamic photochemical processes to be followed directly during illumination, without delays caused by sample transfer.
